Mia Wasikowska is the new face of Miu Miu

Mia Wasikowska, the 23 year old elfin star of 'Jane Eyre' and 'Alice in Wonderland', is the face of Miu Miu's spring/summer 2012 campaign.



Wasikowska replaces Guinevere van Seenus, who represented the label for resort 2012, marking her first major fashion campaign.

Last May, Prada's sister label hired Hailee Steinfeld, the then 14 year-old Oscar nominated star of True Grit, as their poster girl - a controversial selection given the budding actress's tender age.
The Miu Miu campaign is one of the most coveted assignments in the fashion industry and more often than not features young Hollywood starlets. Other actresses to take up the role in the past include Katie Holmes, Lindsay Lohan, and Kirsten Dunst.
